For most people who are single, they call V-day (Valentine's Day) S.ingle. A.wareness. D.ay. I didn't get it at first but it's pretty funny actually!
V-day is a man made holiday. Yes, it's nice to get chocolate, flowers, and cards, but this V-day is not going to bother me!
Focus on birthdays and anniversaries. My parents are so cute because my dad will take my mom away for her birthday and their anniversary. Of course, they get each other stuff on V-day but they taught me V-day is a silly make you feel either good or bad holiday. But please don't be SAD! I would be sad if you were too :(
anyway, I have a blessed life and I'll be twenty this summer so I'm not in spinster hood!
I'm pretty content with my Savior, family, friends (loft, school, small group, triad, church, other social stuff) and dark chocolate lol.

Don't focus on the gifts, candy, flowers, be content!
