hi!
I've been watching a show called "Cheers" it's about a Boston Bar where there are different people who come; a know it all post-man, an unemployed sarcastic customer, a former coach, a former pitcher, a grad student, and an obnoxious waitress. Sam, the owner, and Diane, a grad student have this amazing chemistry, but because they are too opposite for each other, they cannot be together. You see, opposites can attract all they want, but typically, they never work out. For instance, I knew a couple where the girl was extremely outgoing, extremely crazy, and just confident about herself. Meanwhile, the guy was also outgoing but a little bit more quiet and not as crazy. Were together for a little bit but now are not together anymore.
I know one couple, who are opposite for each other to the core. The guy, is into books, music, movies, and was an film major. Meanwhile, the girl is into kids, hunting, and guns. He was engaged to a woman described as "his twin" same interests, almost very much alike. Meanwhile, the current couple, are opposite: he's abstract and she's black & white.
It's hard for opposite to be together. They drive each other crazy and fight all the time. I like having a banter, but my opposite would be: a handsome, sarcastic, smooth talker who would prefer sports to books.
If any of the characters, I would be like Diane. Geeky, awkward, and emotional. Her opposite is Sam, so, if I might meet a Christian Sam (one without all the addictions) then that'll be interesting, but like I said, extreme opposites NEVER work.
Alright, off to finish an episode of Cheers and get some school stuff done!
Bye, Faith.
