wedding stuff...

Disclaimer: I'm not desperate: My sister is engaged so I can get away with talking about it!

Anyway, my sister and I see the shows, commercials, advertisements, and bridal stores all the time. There is one show called Bridezilla; those brides need therapy. There's another called Platinum wedding, which those people need good jobs. Another one called yes to the dress, those girl need daddy's. Four weddings, girls need to stop being (you know what I'm talking about) hopefully their marriages last. Now, if you want a big wedding, that's fine but the concept of these shows is this: the dress, the details, and the reception hall. Let's forget about; it's all about the bride. Why should there be a groom anyway? The bride is just marrying her fantasy and her ego. I heard one bride say "this is my first wedding" uh, honey, unless your husband dies or is abusive towards you then this should be your only wedding.

I'm not against big weddings, I just hate to see the details tied up. Marriage ceremonies were created one point in history because people use to marry themselves, and the church didn't like that. I think you need at least two witnesses....I'm not sure....

Marriage is a beautiful thing. I love going to weddings where I see the groom and bride looking happily at each other. It's the cutest thing known to man kind, but most of the weddings I have gone I know will be "till death you part"

When I marry, I will make sure I won't become a bridezilla. I want a simple wedding dress, my sis will be the matron of honor, and I might have a friend or two and if he has a sister, they'll be bridesmaids. Either at the church or outside, sometime Spring or early Fall depends on our schedule. Have a potluck reception, possibly some old fashioned dancing, no alcohol (I can't and wasn't to going to drink)

When I was younger, a boy my mom babysat during the summer, him and I were planning to get married when we were adults, have five kids, log cabin (his idea) and a green minivan (my idea lol) but I haven't seen him in almost ten years and he's now dating somebody, so that won't be happening unless he believes in polygamy, lol j/k.

Anyway, I will not become a bridezilla, and I'm excited to become the bride of Christ. Sweetness!
