the weed of hatred

hi!

The wedding is only six days away! I can't believe it! It went really fast!

Well, today's agenda is homework and chores. Maybe football? Not sure.

The reason I titled this post is because there's a verse that just haunts me and it's:

"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. -"1 John 4:20

wow, you mean to tell me, I can have all the faith, hope, and love in God, but if I hate my brother or sister, I don't love God?

lately, I've been noticing a lot more hatred spread around between Christians and non-Christians, and sadly it seems to be growing more in Christians than non-Christians....

I'll probably write a note later....

need to go....bye! Faith.

think about the veggie tales episode when Junior runs across this little tiny weed, and the weed tells him it's okay to lie, but the more Junior lies, the bigger it grows and when it grows so much, it overpowers Junior.

Where, I go to Loft, Matt said (paraphrasing) if we think can keep our sin private and not let it affect others, then we're wrong.

I have disliked somebody to the point I can't stand their presence, but I've learned that it does affect others if you don't like somebody else.

I remember once somebody accused of something that they weren't even for, and said I did it, even though I hadn't. I simply cried and wanted to tell them, I hadn't but I knew even an earthquake would not move that person. However, I talked to a person, and they said, "even if they're right, but they're wrong, still try to make it right"

The bible says:

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift." Matthew 5:23-24.

So, I'm not looking down on anybody who has a dispute with their brother or sister, but I would encourage to let it go because it also says in 1 John 4:

"And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister"-vs. 21
