weddings, jobs, and schoolss....also surgery

hi!

First off, wedding stuff:

Wednesday we went to Rachel's favourite Chinese restaurant and had an impromptu trip to star bucks. They have the best Salted Caramel Mocha ever :D. After bringing home Chinese food and the mocha, I felt very urban :) I hope to live in a city one day.

Thursday though was crazy! I did cry because I felt like I messed everything up but Amanda (Rachel's former college roommate and bridesmaid) started singing everybody dance now on the way home and I laughed so hard I cried.

Sadly, I found out Pastor Bob is leaving :( we had such great discussions and he is a wonderful pastor. I pray blessings for his family, though Bob jr is staying. I noticed he really cares about his girlfriend but she doesn't (I read into things anyway) seem as enthusiastic but she might be reserved too. I hope th best for them!

We set up at the church, then went back to Rachel's place where we had a dinner and game night; it was really funny.

Friday we left early, picked up the cake, set up some more, then prepared for the rehearsal dinner.

Rehearsal dinner went well and we had a good time :).

Then came the actual wedding! I was so happy it finally came, though my feet hurt like crazy because the shoes are made out of cardboard. I wish I could have smiled more but sadly that wasn't the case because I had so much on my mind.

I was blessed with wonderful friends helping out at the reception.

My wedding will be simple but elegant at the same time. I'm hoping to keep it under a 100 people. The only relatives I have is my grandma, my great aunt and uncle, and they're in their late 70's-early 80's so I will probably married by 25-30 which would be hard for them to come. I'm hoping either late Spring or early Fall wedding. My favourite flowers are daffodils, hydrangeas, lilies, yellow, and white roses.

I have a job at the local department store nearby. I only did training on Tuesday from 1-8pm. Tomorrow I work 9:45-3:00 and will be in the missies department, which is suppose to be the messiest department of the whole store, LOL! I work Sunday, Tuesday, and next Saturday. I am really blessed even if I work on black Friday most likely at midnight, which crazy as it sounds, I hope to be at loft.

School is going well. I have four and a half pages done for a 5-7 page paper done! Praise the LORD! I have been struggling but I hope my sis who is good at writing papers will help me tomorrow night!

I had oral surgery yesterday which went well; the bleeding and pain is mostly gone but I still am a little swollen.

My former boss wants to meet me for lunch which means....I will tell her I am NOT coming back.

1) the work environment was awful
2) I want to save up money for Paris
3) Go on the summer retreat
4) work in an office or some other place where they pay more

But I have nothing against CEF; just isn't for me.

Stef and I are also going to see Cherry Blossoms and DC in March. Can't wait for it! Whenever I am in DC, I feel like I am at home or even in Lancaster; I feel like I belong to a city of sorts, but I'll be happy wherever I live.

Anyway, taking a lunch break and hopefully I will have this paper done.

Also, today some truck hit the side of my house, lol but the house, cars, and we are fine.

As always, talk to you later!

Faith.
