Proverbs, Sex, and Carpe Diem....

hey y'all!

Well, last night at post high was interesting.

We talked about Proverbs and what it says about premarital sex, but I liked Matt, our leader said about connecting the three out of the four loves together.

He talked about how Eros, Agape (selfless love), and friendship love should come together in marriage. Not in other type of relationship.

He also pointed out about how Adam "knew" Eve. They of course were married and had the first special bond together.

It was awkward, mostly because you never know what to say but I think it's good for everyone to learn about.

We live in a culture where people are suppose to have sex outside of marriage to fulfill their "needs." whereas  in marriage, you're suppose to fulfill your spouses "needs" It's hard to explain but I'm hoping when I get married, I won't be soo scared about it!

But before I go into any gross details about that stuff, I want to talk about seizing the day.

I was listening to the Christian Radio and the pastor was talking about "seizing the day"

We want to go college, get married, have kids, get a great jobs, have grandkids, and retire. We never live in the moment. We are always impatient for the next thing. Life is precious and we should live in the moment.

So, I think I needed to hear that. I worry about after college; marriage; kids; and my career choice when I should focus on schoolwork, my relationship with the LORD and becoming a more mature person.

But speaking of school, I have class tonight, a worksheet and a quiz to work on tonight and tomorrow.

Okay, bye!

Faith.
