Summary of the Weekend :)

hi!

It was an awesome weekend!

It started on Friday when Mom and Dad picked up and took me to Rachel and Stephen's.

We got a tour of their new house. From the outside, it's a fooler but on the inside, it's beautiful!

Beautiful wood floors, awesome kitchen with a dishewasher, new stove, looked like granite counter tops (not sure of the official name) nice backyard, beautiful master with its own bathroom, a hallway bath with a tub, two awesome rooms with one having double closets, a loft/attic, and a laundry room!

It also has tiny built book shelves which I always wanted that or a library!

The house is long and narrow but I still like it.

But goodness, moving all their stuff! I am thankful people from Stephen's job and some from their church moved all the furniture! But they used to live on second story apartment with narrow stairs, and their new house has even more narrow stairs!

Sadly, no off street parking but they are use to parking that way and it's a city. It's hard to find!

I am excited to paint it. It's not the colors I would choose but once I have my own place, I can go crazy!

I can't wait to have my own space. I know I will have a mortgage and other expenses but I can do whatever I want to it!

Including a finished basement; a loft area; built in bookshelves, and a nice kitchen!

Finally coming back to school on the same day, Janelle came to my place, and we relaxed till we went to bed.

All day Saturday we watched Hitchcock movies:  The Birds, Saboteur, Psycho (amazing!) and Marnie. We wanted to watch more but Hitchcock believed movie length should be based on how long your bladder could take it. So, an average Hitchcock is two hours.

I got Janelle the Clue Hitchcock edition but we sadly could not finish all the movies for the game. Left: Frenzy, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Torn Curtain.

But we still played and had fun.

Then Sunday morning, we went to a church nearby where we went to a Sunday class about the bad girls of the bible.

They talked about the Samaritan woman at the well. I think God has been trying to tell me about He is the living water. When I get exhausted or weary, I should go to Him for strength.

Then the Sunday sermon was about witnessing to others. The church is a great place and if I end up in the area, I will go there.

Janelle and I went out with some of them to Panera Bread and we had sooo much fun.

When I took Janelle and my plate to the trash, a random customer said "good job." lol.

After Janelle left, I had to go to the apartments because the townhouse washers and dryers were broken. I read more Harry Potter Book #6 and did homework while waiting.

I finally finished #6!!! I really liked it a lot. I thought #5 was my favorite but besides the ending, I think I really enjoyed #6.

I did cry at the ending of #6. But I'm sure many questions will be answered in the final book.

I accidentally watched "Big Bang" and Sheldon revealed some stuff about #6 that broke my heart (if you have read the book, you'll understand exactly what I'm saying).

I got to finish the 5th movie as well. Sad to see more bad things but I knew it was coming. It was a good movie; my goodness, they skimmed sooo much though! Some great parts though ;).

I have the final book and the 6th movie. I was going to get Dial M For Murder and Rear Window (both by Hitchcock) but I have to watch A.I. tonight in class.

I know it's really depressing, so I am glad I got the final book and the 6th in case I get REALLY sad!

On one last note, I might be staying in the area because a law school nearby offers certificates for paralegal in real estate, estate administration or Intellectual Property (IP). I'm leaning towards IP but we'll see what happens!

I'm excited for the plans God has for me, and I'm thankful for my wonderful family and friends!

Bye, off to do some homework!

Faith.
