last day of 2011

hi!

A lot has happened this year. Whether positive or negative, it has been a good year.

I cannot for 2012 because:

Winter Jam
Casting Crowns
DC trip
Purple Door
Beach trip
21st birthday (not drinking; still not sure what to do because I've been forbidden to bungee jump or sky dive, and no one will go para sailing)
Getting more involved with Christ Church
Summer retreat (promoting it more)
Getting ready for Central Penn! can't wait to go!
Winter retreat!

The biggest lessons of 2011:

Don't promote yourself that much
Don't care what other people think if they want to change you
Not to take every action of a guy seriously; guys are nice and sometimes don't know they hurt ladies.
Don't get attach to a job you know you're not going to stay!

Okay, getting ready for the awesome loft party tonight!

Faith.

Hometown Glory...

hi!

Sadly, Bon-Ton decided not to keep me :(. Yesterday was my last day. I worked a very lonely and sad 7:45-10:45am. The store didn't even open till 10am, which made me sad because I did not work with anybody and only waited on two customers. My last ones were really nice, then I left.

I left a nice note (not for brownies points) because I now can apply for a job because I have retail experience.

I cannot believe I am sooooo sad over this dumb. A little upset about my last shift but such as life. I know when I go to Central Penn, I will apply to the two bon-tons there.

Anyway off to do stufffffffffff.

line dancing.....my county's style

hi!

I went to Rachel and Stephen's Monday to spend time with his family. We had a great time and I mostly spent time with his cousin Karl (he's almost 23!) making sarcastic cracks. I like him a lot but I highly doubt we'd ever get together. He's brilliant but pompous at the same time. He's studying for his masters in church in Texas. All of his family are really smart. His parents have degrees in software engineering, his sister graduated from college at 20 and is a doctoral program in Chemistry and this is considered normal: Karl's brother graduated 4th in his class in a competitive school district near Philly and goes to Drexel for computer science. A little intimating but they like me. If it works, it'll work, if not, then I won't cry over it. I don't think I'm not academic for Karl; I read books for fun, I have to work hard to get good grades, and I like normal regular folk stuff, hahaha.

I'm going line dancing tonight locally with awesome friends. For once in my life, I don't have to travel far to go some place.

Tomorrow morning I work 7:45-10:45, which it might be my last day at my job, not sure though. If so, I will be sad because it has been one of the best jobs I have ever worked at even though it's customer service :)

Anyway, spent time with old co-workers from last night and we had fun.

I am loving my kindle fire. Print is excellent for reading and it feels like I'm reading a real book. I also go on facebook, play angry birds, and listen to pandora. it's fantastic :D

Anyway, need to go; talk to you later!

Faith.

Christmas time!

hi!

I've been a little busy. I worked Thursday for three hours which was a little hectic. I'd love to keep my job but all I can is pray :)

Friday I went to see Rach and Stephen but did not get a lot of sleep thanks to their kitty named snoopers!

But I ended reading a lot of Silas Marner! I think I am slowly falling in love with this story.

Rach and Stephen got me a non-electric scooter which is a grand therapy of mine!

Really tired and have church in the morning....Bye!

Merry Christmas! Faith.

loft retreat!

I told you about last years' retreat, which was awesome, but this years' was AMAZING.

I drove up with Lance, Vanesca, and Janelle. Lance played jingle bells on the ukelele, and we didn't get lost :)

We got there, where we had a small session, which was on the land between. Bryan, our speaker, talked about the land between; a time when you don't trust God. He used these examples:

Israel
Elijah
Abraham
Joseph

If I only had faith like Joseph; unwavering, never changing.

Rubber band wars, swimming in the hottub/pool, playing, taking pictures, and yummy food accommodated the weekend.

I roomed with Stef and Vanesca, which the first night I could hardly sleep, then the second night I slept great but Stef punched me in the nose, lol.

Ben and I are on really pleasant terms. He took me my rubber band and instead of letting go, we both held on, which resulted of me hurting my finger because it snapped.

In conclusion, it was an awesome weekend.

Talk to you later! Faith.

"Since you've been gone...."

Hi!

Busy with school and work

School:

I have a 8:30 final Monday (gross!) and a 11am final Wednesday

Work:

I work Sunday and Tuesday (my long shifts; at least both 7 hours) Thursday and Friday are only three hours, downside about Friday is I was originally going to work 10-1 but they changed it to 1:30-4:30.

The retreat:

After work Friday, I'm going to Mcd's, changing, grab food, and hitting the road, then carpool with Vanesca (who is awesome!)

Anything else? Well, every guy is a flirt minus my brother in law and Brad. But Ben, Travis, and Bob jr are so shameless, though Bob has calmed since dating his awesome girlfriend Abby. They write letters to each other, aww :)

Anyway, Brad doesn't like me. Don't you get this weird feeling that somebody doesn't like you? He gives me that feeling and his body language suggests so. I have a theory he likes Elaine, but I could be wrong.

You should be proud of me. A nice named Billy asked me to be my friend on fb and I'm not reading into it, even though we haven't a conversation with each other in person, LOL.

Off to do homework and get take out.....bye!
